PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer coat tube fixing section of an endoscope having durability without loosening, damaging or dropping a flexible outer coat tube fixing section even by sterilizing. SOLUTION: In the outer coat tube fixing section of the endoscope comprising a tubular member and a flexible outer coat tube coating on a surface of the tubular member and having an end ligated by ligature from its outside and fixed to the member, as the ligature, yarn obtained by bundling, knitting or twisting fine fibers each having chemical and heat resistances is used.
