PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor structure of an axial gap rotating electric machine that can improve a rotation limit. SOLUTION: In the rotor structure of the axial gap rotating electric machine made of a rotor 4 in which a plurality of permanent magnets 1 are provided in the circumferential direction on a disk-shaped holding member 2 and the holding member 2 is connected to a rotating shaft 3, and a stator 7 that is arranged to face the rotor 4 along the center axial line of the rotor, the rotor is constituted of two permanent magnets 1a, 1b or more by dividing permanent magnets 1 in the radial direction and the adjacent permanent magnets 1a, 1b do not contact each other.
