PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform effective massage in accordance with a body shape (build) by correcting different acupoint positions by height and also controlling the strength and amount of the massage according to the body shape (build). SOLUTION: The massage machine 1 is provided with a seat part 2 and a seat back 3 having treating element 4 to adjust the strength and amount of treatment by making the treating elements 4 freely movable in a vertical direction A and adjusting the movement amount of a front and rear direction B. The seat part 2 is provided with a weight sensor 5 for detecting the weight of a user. The seat back pat 3 is provided with a shoulder position sensor 6 for detecting the shoulder position of the user. The machine is provided with a discriminating means for discriminating the body shape of the user with a standard shape as reference from body shape data which are obtained by respective detection signals from the weight sensor 3 and the shoulder position sensor 6 when massage is started and a correction means for correcting the strength and amount of treatment in accordance with the discriminated body shape.
