<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate compressor allowing enhancement of the anti-abrasiveness of a piston without enlarging shoes. SOLUTION: The swash plate compressor is equipped with a cylinder block 1 having a plurality of cylinder bores 6, a shaft supported rotatably in the center of the cylinder block 1, a swash plate 10 coupled with the shaft and rotating together with the shaft 5 in rotation, shoes 60 and 61 to make relative rotation upon the swash plate 10 and a piston 7 to hold the shoes 60 and 61 and slide linearly inside the cylinder bores 6 in association with the swash plate 10 and works with a refrigerant as a working fluid consisting of carbon dioxide, wherein a coating film is formed on the piston 7 in such an arrangement that its hardness is higher than the cylinder block 1 and lower than the shoes 60 and 61.</p> |
