<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement type swash plate clutcheless compressor whereby the performance and working effectiveness are enhanced by controlling the leak of a refrigerant gas generated at a spool valve. SOLUTION: The variable displacement type swash plate clutchless compressor is equipped with a cylinder block 1 furnished with a plurality of cylinder bores 6, a shaft 5 supported in the center of the cylinder block 1 rotatably, a discharge chamber 12 to store the refrigerant gas discharged from the compression chamber 6a in the cylinder bore 6, a suction passage 39 to lead the refrigerant gas from a suction hole 3a to the suction chamber 13, and spool valve 30 to shut the suction passage 39 when the pressure of refrigerant gas downstream of a control valve 81 and the energizing force of a spring 32 act in the valve closing direction, the pressure of refrigerant gas in the discharge chamber 12 acts in the valve opening direction, and only when the pressure difference between the two lies below the specified value, wherein the spool valve 30 is arranged in the direction perpendicularly intersecting the axis of the shaft 5.</p> |
