PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a web coil without operating a large stress for causing an image quality defect at a web of a lithographic printing plate material in a state in which the web is loaded on a coil pallet as the coil. SOLUTION: The web coil 10 is loaded on the coil pallet 15 via an elastic member 26 made of a urethane sponge or the like, and the member 26 is elastically compression deformed at an area for receiving a load from the coil 10 on its upper surface so as to be bent along an outer peripheral surface 28 of the coil 10. Thus, as compared with the case of loading the coil 10 directly on the pallet 15, the load operated from the coil 10 to the pallet 15 side is dispersed to a sufficiently wide area and can be supported. Accordingly, a maximum stress at the contact part of the outer peripheral surface of the coil 10 with the member 26 can be sufficiently reduced.
