PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device and method for preparing boiled water for a microwave oven capable of preparing boiled water simply. SOLUTION: A boiled water preparing container 11 is formed of microwave transmitting material, is in a closed state with the upper part of housed water 15, is provided with a water intake port 101 in the neighborhood of a bottom part and boils the housed water 15 irradiated with the microwave. A shielding room 2 is formed of microwave non-transmitting material to shield the emitted microwave. With steam pressure generated between the upper part of the container 11 and water surface as the result of boiling the water in the container 11 by irradiation with the microwave, the boiled water is transported into a container 21 within the shielding room 2 through a pipe 10. Thus, the boiled water is obtained efficiently by using the function of the microwave oven by simple operation. This obtained boiled water can be utilized in the casing of the microwave oven directly and variously for the purpose of preparing various kinds of beverages, applying to instant foods, etc. |
