Conventionally, it takes much bothersome work and time to find the URLs of Web pages providing necessary information and it is impossible to acquire necessary information from a Web page on the Internet through a portable telephone terminal if the URLs of Web pages providing necessary information are unknown. A portable telephone terminal (2) connectable to the Internet (6) and a guide device (1) for distributing guide information about an information providing site (3) on the Internet (6) to the portable telephone terminal (2) are provided. When the portable telephone terminal (2) calls a predetermined telephone number, the guide device (1) sends an e-mail message containing guide information including the address of the information providing site (3) to the portable telephone terminal (2). The sent e-mail message is used when the portable telephone terminal (2) accesses the information providing site (3).
