The composition comprises fungi belonging to one or more species of genus Trichoderma, selected from amongst T. asperellum, T. atroviride, T. inhamatum and the mixtures thereof. Said composition is useful as biological control agent of phytopathogenic organisms. The composition is suitable for protecting or treating plants and vegetable material against infections and diseases caused by plant pathogens and/or for stimulating plant growth and/or inducing systemic resistance in plants against diseases caused by phytopathogenic organisms and/or controlling biodeterioration agents of materials. The invention can be used in the field of agriculture.
