PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for an AC motor capable of passing a high-order harmonic current exceeding the limit of a response of a current-control unit. SOLUTION: The unit comprises a power converter that drives the motor, a means that detects a current of the motor and converts a value on a three-phase static coordinate to a value on a fundamental-wave rotation coordinate, a first control means that outputs a first modulation ratio command checking a current-reference value of the motor against a detected current, a means that converts an output of the first control means to the value on the three-phase static coordinate, a means that sets a required harmonic-current command value folded to the current of the motor on a harmonic rotation coordinate, a means that converts the detected current of the motor to the value on the harmonic rotation coordinate, a second control means that outputs a second modulation ratio command checking the harmonic-current command value against the motor current on the harmonic rotation coordinate, a means that converts an output of the second control means to the value on the three-phase static coordinate and an adder that adds the first modulation ratio command and the second modulation ratio command and sets the sum of the two as a modulation ratio command to the power converter. |
