A bottle opening element is fixed in the bottom (5) of the bottle. The bottom of the bottle has a basin-shaped recess (6) and the bottle opening element is fitted in an edge section of this recess. The bottom of the bottle has a rim (7) circumferentially defining the recess and forming a standing surface which extends in a standing plane (9) located at right angles to the longitudinal axis (8) of the body (1) of the bottle. The bottle opening element is formed in such a way that a cap (3) belonging to the bottle can be removed by the opener of another bottle.
