<p>A method for coating an article having Class A and non-Class A surfaces, e.g., a metal, automotive substrate, includes selectively electrodepositing a first coating material, e.g., a durable color coat or topcoat, upon at least a portion of the Class A surface and electrodepositing an anticorrosion material upon at least a portion of the non-Class A surface.
