A wire guide is provided for use in a wire bonding machine. The guide can be releasably attached to a bonding wedge (2) and a transducer (5) of the bonding head. The wire guide comprises guide members (13) integrally formed with the wire guide body (3) for feeding the bonding wire to the wedge. Securement means (14, 17) are integrally formed with the guide body (3) for releasably mounting the guide.
