PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sinker attaching tool enabling easy attaching of a small- sized sinker having a line inserting groove to a fishing line. SOLUTION: The attaching tool is composed of upper and lower press members 11, 13 connected with each other at the base parts in a state forced to be separated with a blade spring 15. The upper press member 11 is provided at the lower and upper parts of a groove 18 with a groove-formed sinker case 17 slidably holding a sinker-sliding block 21 having a connected member 36 composed of plural weights 37 connected with each other through a connection bar 39 and a weight sliding block 21 having a weight pushing and engaging piece 24, an upward pressing block 31 adjacent to the tip end of the sinker case 17 and a line guide block 32 having a line-guiding groove 33 adjacent to both end faces of the upward pressing block 31. The lower press member 13 is provided with a lower press block 34 having a connection bar cutting blade 35 at the tip end of the press block 34.
