PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a running rail apparatus on which an automotive device, such as an automatic welding machine, can be mounted, and which can be easily installed on and removed from the outersurface mounted a large diameter pipe. SOLUTION: A running rail apparatus 1 is composed of a round running part 2 that is the result of connecting two semi-circular rails 3 and 4. Both the semi-circular rails 3 and 4 are connected at one end by a hinge, which is a hinge-connected part 5, permitting their free opening and closing. The other ends of the rails are made to be a coupling part 6 where both ends can be coupled or disengaged freely. The apparatus is installed on a pipe with each semi-circular rail 3 and 4 being opened wide, followed by the coupling of the rails at the coupling part 6.
