PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko island unit which will not block the ejection of pachinko balls from a counter by preventing the congestion of pachinko balls on a losing ball recovery gutter as much as possible for smooth circulation of pachinko balls within a pachinko island unit. SOLUTION: A ball ejection space 80 where pachinko balls are stored is formed between a counting ejection port 85 and a losing ball recovery gutter 17 while an ejection opening part 97 is formed at the downstream end of the ball ejection space 80 to reduce the ejection of pachinko balls to be ejected from the ejection opening part 97 less than the ejection of pachinko balls to be ejected from the counting ejection port 85. As a result, the pachinko balls ejected from the counting ejection port 85 are.stored once into the ball ejection space 80 to prevent an excess of pachinko balls from being ejected onto the losing ball recovery gutter 17 one at a time. This eliminates the pachinko balls ejected from the counting ejection port 85 from blocking the downflow of the pachinko balls on the losing ball recovery gutter 17.
