PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel heat exchanger in which heat exchanging amount can be regulated directly or indirectly. SOLUTION: A heat exchanging unit 1 comprises a heat exchanger 3, a heating medium storage container 5, and a gas mixer 7. A radiator 9 and a hear absorber 13 are disposed in the heat exchanger 3 and the heating medium storage container 5 is disposed contiguously to the heat exchanger 3. The gas mixer 7 for mixing liquid heating medium W stored in the heating medium storage container 5 with compressed air or atmosphere is disposed in the container 5 at a part on the bottom wall 31 side thereof. A port 33 for sucking the mixing gas from the gas mixer 7 is provided on the bottom wall 31 side of the heating medium storage container 5 and an exhaust port 35 is provided on the top plate wall side 21 of the heating medium storage container 5. A gas separating space S sufficient for separating heat absorbed gas naturally from the liquid heating medium W is formed between the liquid level of the liquid heating medium W in the heating medium storage container 5 and the top plate wall side 21 thereof.
