PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device which displays picture recording programs telerecorded within the prescribed period before operation and has good operability. SOLUTION: Only the picture recording program information of the programs telerecorded within the prescribed period before the operation is displayed in accordance with the picture recording program information stored in a first picture recording memory section 3 and the information in a clock section and the picture recording program information of the programs telerecorded before the same is not displayed.
