PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device which is light in weight, has a structure of a thin type and facilitates repairing and measures against electromagnetic noise. SOLUTION: A film-like front filter 7 has a structure obtained by sticking an antireflection film (AR film) 73 across an adhesive layer 72 to the front of a transparent conductive film 71. The antireflection film 73 and the adhesive layer 72 do not exist at the outer peripheral edges of the transparent conductive film 71 and the outer peripheral edges of the transparent conductive film 71 constitute bus bar regions 7a as conductive film exposed parts. Such film-like front filter 7 is stuck to the front of a PDP 2 by the adhesive layer 10 applied on the rear surface side of the transparent conductive film 71. The adhesive layer 10 does not exist on the non-light emission regions 2a of the PDP 2. Then, the peeling of the film-like front filter 7 is possible on the non-light emitting regions 2a. This peelable region is formed as a repair region.
