PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a voltage-conversion unit of a small size having high power-conversion efficiency and little noise. SOLUTION: A signal-amplifying means is mounted to a self-switching drive circuit and, a positive feedback circuit, a timing circuit, a feedback circuit and a current-control circuit are disposed in parallel and connected to an input part of the means. Also for the case of employing a synchronous rectifier circuit using a MOSFET to an output rectifier circuit, the timing circuit and a control circuit that controls the lower limit of a drive voltage are connected to a gate circuit of the MOSFET. Furthermore, after dividing a box to an internal box and an external box, a number of penetrating small holes or small convexes are formed at the external box.
