PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a three dimensional image projection apparatus capable of eliminating image distortion without any delicate position adjustment. SOLUTION: In the three dimensional image projector, an image for adjustment is projected on an image display 12 from each image projecting part 11-1, 11-2 for respective left and right eyes, and the projecting part 11-1, 11-2 are arranged so that display areas of each projected images for respective left and right eyes nearly overlapped. At first, an image projection is stopped by the projecting part 11-2 responding to either left or right eyes, then one adjusting image that is projected on the display 12 is shot by a correction image imaging part 13. Next, the projector 11-2 that has been stopping projection starts an image projection, and new correcting images projected on the display are shot by the imaging part 13. After imaging, the obtained image data is sent to a correction calculator 14 to generate correction data for geometrical distortion and for position misalignment, then the correction data is sent to a correction processor 15, so that correction processing is processed to left and right input image signal based on the correction data. |
