PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of a sieve in a sieve device for an excavator used in the form being attached to the arm of the excavator. CONSTITUTION: The sieve device 11 is provided with an attachment base 12 secured to the tip end of an arm 5, a basket 17 capable of being turned to the attachment base 12, a ladling part 32 set at the end part of an opening 17a side of the basket 17, and a hydraulic motor 14 to turn the basket 17. For example, sand and soil containing pebbles to be objective is ladled in the basket 17 by making use of the ladling part 32 so as to turn the basket 17 as it were and perform sifting operation with sieve interstices around the circumferential part of the basket, thereby enlarging a sifting area; moreover, improving an efficiency of sifting because centrifugal force is utilized as well.
