摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the radiating performance of a cooling/boiling apparatus 5 without being accompanied by enlargement of the size. SOLUTION: A heat receiver 16 and a radiator 17 of the cooling/boiling apparatus 5 are so disposed that the upper tank 16a of the heat receiver 16 and the lower tank 17b of the radiator 17 are positioned at the same height substantially, and a refrigerant sealed inside the apparatus is filled in a part including the inside of the upper tank 16a of the heat receiver 16 and the lower tank 17b of the radiator 17. When the refrigerant starts boiling in the heat receiver 16 according to this constitution, a liquid level of the refrigerant in the radiator 17 rises and a part extending to about the lower half to 1/3 of a radiating tube 17c is filled with the liquid refrigerant. In this case, about the lower half to 1/3 of the radiating core of the radiator 17 functions as a supercooling unit and the liquid refrigerant inside can be cooled further through the heat exchange with the air. As a result, the supercooled liquid refrigerant returns to the heat receiver 16 and a refrigerant temperature in the heat receiver 16 lowers consequently. Therefore, the quantity of heat received from high- temperature air by the heat receiver 16 increases and the radiating performance can be improved.
