PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate back-lash of male and female connectors. SOLUTION: A mounting stanchion 14 is protrudingly installed at a bottom surface wall 11C of a male connector housing 11, and it can be mounted on a panel 30 by utilizing a pair of elastic engaging claws 14A that have been formed at the lower end. On the other hand, an elastic piece 17 that makes an upper side as a free end at a rear face wall 11A of a male connector housing 11 is formed, and the upper end is in the state that the upper end part is protruding to more inside than the rear face wall 11A in a free state. When a female connector housing 21 is inserted into the male connector housing 11 and a complete fitting state is obtained, the elastic piece 17 is elastically deformed, and an elastic spring force acts on the opposite side against an insertion direction of the male connector housing 11.
