PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte capable of inhibiting decomposition or reaction of a monomer even when charging and discharging are repeated, and preventing deterioration of cell characteristics such as charging and discharging efficiency, and charging and discharging cycle characteristics, and a cell using the same. SOLUTION: The cell is fabricated by encapsulating a cell element 20 obtained by laminating a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 with a separator 23 held therebetween into an armor member 30. The separator 23 is impregnated with the electrolyte. The electrolyte contains at least one of a carboxylic acid and a carboxylic acid salt together with a polymeric compound, a plasticizer and a lithium salt. With this, polymerization of monomers can be smoothly advanced even in the presence of copper or the like when the polymeric compound is obtained by polymerization of the monomers, and the content of an unreacted monomer in the electrolyte can be lessened. |
