<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uninterruptible power supply equipped with a hub function, capable of operating continuously even if power failure occurs. SOLUTION: In UPS 10, the output of an inverter 16 is connected with an external terminal as a load and a connecter 24 for communication is connected with a USB cable which extends from respective external terminals. As a result, the respective external terminals are connected on the LAN via a hub 23 and information sent or received on the LAN is, via a communication interface 22, outputted to the main control part 21 of the UPS 10. If an external AC power supply is failed, the respective external terminals can be supplied with power from the inverter 16 to operate continuously and communicate continuously with each other via the hub 23 and the communication interface 22 supplied with power from a battery 14.</p> |
