发明名称 ELECTRIC WATER-HEATER
摘要
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional electric water-heater in which water heat-up is done during the daytime hours at a higher electric rate, even when a hot-water supply can be managed if remaining water in a water-storage tank is used, especially in the time period after the evening till beginning of the night hours. SOLUTION: The electric water heater is provided with a heating body 8 having a power supply either in the daytime hours or in the night hours, a temperature sensor 9, a flow sensor 7 detecting hot-water supply volume other than a water-storage tank 2, a discriminator where to which time period the energization belongs, the daytime hours, or the night hours, and a memory means for storing a record of current-passing to the heating body 8 in the past night hours. When the flow sensor 7 detects in daytime hours a water- supply amount of at least a predetermined amount corresponding to the past energization-time record to the heating body 8 in the past night hours stored in the memory means, the heating body 8 is energized to heat up water, and a time elapsed from the daytime hours is counted from the start of the daytime hours, and if the elapsed time has reached a predetermined time, the current- carrying to the heating body 8 is stopped.
