<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a function for suppressing the quantity of a part of the body of an occupant moving in the car outside direction in rollover time without enlarging an inflator in a head protection air bag device. SOLUTION: This head protection air bag device 10 is so constituted as to protect the head Hf of the occupant by inflating and expanding an air bag 11 into a curtain shape at the side part in a cabin by feeding gas from the inflator 12. The air bag 11 is provided with a head protection inflation area A having thick inflation parts 11b and 11c positioned on the side of the head of eth occupant and an extension inflation area B having thin inflation parts 11i, 11j, 11k, 11m, and 11n extending from the bottom end of the head protection inflation area A to the bottom position of a door belt line L.</p> |
