A device (1) and method for carbonating and dispensing liquids includes providing a mixing chamber (15) with an agitator (17) therein for agitating the liquids, a first valve system (30, 32, 36) connected to the mixing chamber (15) for controlling inflow and outflow of liquid to and from the mixing chamber (15); a second valve system (20) connected to the mixing chamber (15) for regulating venting of air from the mixing chamber (15) and the intake of carbon dioxide; and a controller (54) connected to the first (30, 32, 36) and second (20) valve systems and the agitator (17) for controlling the operation thereof. |
