PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent reoxidation due to a reaction of with the air causing the reoxidation of molten steel with a heat insulating agent. SOLUTION: In a continuous casting method for casting an aluminum-killed steel into a mold from a ladle through a tundish, related to the heat insulating agent for adding onto the molten steel surface in the tundish, a high clean aluminum-killed steel is produced by changing the necessary charging quantity according to the liquidus temperature of this heat insulating agent.
