The invention relates to a safety belt system in motor vehicles, comprising at least one belt winder, the belt shaft of which may be connected to an electric motor, by means of an intermediate coupling, which turns the belt shaft in the winding-in direction on operation, in order, in a first operating state, to bring the belt to a parked position wound on the belt shaft on releasing the safety belt and, in a second operating state, depending on driving conditions, in order to give the occupant a recognisable warning signal and to remove slack in the belt, the belt is drawn in, whereby the belt winder comprises a winding spring acting in the belt winding-in direction and the winding spring (17) is arranged with a weak winding force of less than two newtons. |
