TAPE CARTRIDGE

摘要

PURPOSE: To use in common a connecting terminal of the VTR side bringing in contact with terminal parts of memory elements which arc incorporated in each of large and small tape cartridges having respective main body cases with the different height/dimension but housing therein the tapes with the same width. CONSTITUTION: The height and position of the terminal parts 26 of each memory element 25 in both large and small tape cartridges C1.C2 are set to the positions with the same dimension from the position X of the tape running center or from the height Y of the reference surface of a reel receiving base. By this arrangement, each connecting terminal exclusively used for large or small tape cartridge is used in common by eliminating the need of providing each connecting terminal while making them to correspond at the VTR side, then the mechanism of VTR is made compact and the cost reduction is attained.
