PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge capable of preventing residual toner from being leaked from a toner storing container. SOLUTION: This toner cartridge is provided with a friction gear 14 meshed with a gear 12, a lever 15 having a pin internally fit in the gear 14 and a cam groove 15a opening on an opposite side of the pin and rotatably attached to the rotary shaft of a developing roller, a holding member 17 having a pin 17b engaged in the cam groove 15a and a cam groove 16a formed on a housing H and a pin 17c engaged in a cam groove 16b formed on the housing H and holding a doctor blade 43, and a helical spring S attached to the holding member 17 and the housing H. The blade 43 abuts on the surface of the developing roller 4 at the time of rotating a photoreceptor drum 1, and it closes the aperture 41a of the toner storing container 41 at the time of stopping the drum 1. |
