摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and device by which a high gradation and high resolution image is obtained even in a high speed and low temperature fixing process. SOLUTION: In the image forming method using at least a photoreceptor, an exposure system, a fixing unit and a toner, the photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer formed by laminating an electric charge generating layer containing oxy-titanium phthalocyanine having the highest diffraction peak at 27.3 deg. Bragg angle (2θ±0.2) in X-ray diffraction with CuKαrays and an electric charge transferring layer. The photoreceptor is subjected to digital image exposure with the exposure system at >=600 dots/in recording dot density to form an electrostatic latent image. Then this latent image is developed with the toner obtained by carrying out the seed emulsion polymerization of a monomer in the presence of a wax emulsion, by mixing the resulting dispersion of primary polymer particles with a dispersion containing primary colorant particles and by aggregating the particles.</p>
