<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a human body without malfunction and to facilitate installation. SOLUTION: This sensor module has an infrared sensor 2 for human body detection which detects a human body in a 1st detection area SP at a desired measurement distance Dn, a light projection and photodetection type sensor 3 which detects a body including a human body in a 2nd detection area SPT at the desired measurement distance Dn, and a decision circuit 5 which judges whether a detected body is a human body or a body different from the human body according to the detection outputs of the infrared sensor 2 and light projection and photodetection sensor 3. The infrared sensor 2 and light projection and photodetection type sensor 3 has the 1st detection area SP and 2nd detection area SPT made substantially the same. Further, this module has a 1st adjusting means 6 which varies the specific measurement distance Dn and a 2nd adjusting means 7 which changes the position and/or size of the 1st detection area SP.</p> |
