PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing method by which the processing of image data to filter processing can surely be performed. SOLUTION: The processor is provided with a filter coefficient template 26h for holding at least two sets of filter coefficients, and a filter composition processing part 26k for extracting two sets of filter coefficients from the filter coefficient template 26h and preparing a composite filter coefficient by utilizing a zero coefficient. In this constitution, a function for preparing a filter coefficient, by which the same result as the case of performing plural times of filter processing to the image data can be provided, can be realized, thus various filter coefficients for applying various filter processing rather than the filter coefficients of a limited number can be prepared, image processing can surely be performed by the various filter coefficients, and also the filter coefficients are composted by utilizing the zero coefficient, thus the preparation of the synthetic filter coefficient can be simplified. |
