PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily-driven and hardly-removable dowel pin driven into a hole bored in a joint face between two wooden materials to be connected for connecting them together. SOLUTION: In the dowel pin 1 provided with stopping claws 3 arranged in the upper and lower parts of a pin shank 2 and driven into a hole bored in the joint face between two wooden materials for connecting them together, the upper and lower claws 3 are respectively protruded diagonally downward and upward to the axial center and elastically deformably in the radial direction.
