PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent permitted codes from being dispersed to many and unspecified persons, leaving a means which allows a player who has not yet received a permission code to obtain a permission code from a player who has already received a permission code. SOLUTION: When a permission for access to one data is given from a first video game apparatus to a second video game apparatus, the first apparatus produces a code P to permit an access to the data and a code Q in response to an identifier given beforehand to the second apparatus, thereby inputting both the codes P and Q into the second apparatus. The second apparatus compares the identifier extracted from the code Q inputted with the identifier given beforehand to the second apparatus. If both the identifiers agree with each other, the second apparatus extracts the code P from the code Q inputted and accesses the data under the permission of the code P.
