The invention relates to a filter for filtering gaseous media contaminated with moisture and/or oil and/or solid particles. According to the invention, a pot-shaped filter element (5) is placed inside a housing (1, 4), in particular, between the inlet (2) and the outlet (3). A pre-filter (6), which can be easily removed and which functions like a cyclone filter, is located at the entry of the filter element (5). The operating costs of a filter of this type are low by virtue of the fact that the serviceable life of the actual filter is long and that the pre-filter, which can be easily replaced, does result in the accrual of any significant costs. |
