PURPOSE: Provided are a cathode active material composition containing a binding agent and a lithium ion polymer battery produced by using the cathode active material composition and a polymer electrolyte, which has excellent contact property between the polymer electrolyte and the cathode active material. CONSTITUTION: The cathode active material composition comprises a conductive agent, a cathode active material, an organic solvent, and 3-15wt%(based on the total weight of the cathode active material composition) of the binding agent selected from the group consisting of polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyl chloride, polymethylmethacrylate, polymethylacrylate, and copolymers thereof. And the lithium ion polymer battery comprises; a cathode formed with the cathode active material layer on a current collector; an anode formed with the anode active material layer on a current collector; and the polymer electrolyte comprising polyacrylonitrile, lithium salts, and a non-aqueous organic solvent.
