PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent forgetting a returning operation of the operating portion after removing a clogged sheet or setting a sheet. SOLUTION: A paper roll cover 55 of a printer 30 has a portion for controlling 62 which holds a switching lever 40 to the lowest limit in the closed state when the switching lever 40 is located in the limit position where clearances are press contacted to attach a platen roller 36 to a driven roller 37 and the platen roller 36 to a head 38, and moves the switching lever 40 from the upper limit to the lowest limit, contacting with a leading edge of the lever 40 at the time of closing when the lever 40 is in the upper limit position where clearances are not press contacted to attach the platen roller 36 to the driven roller 37 and the platen roller 36 to the head 38. |
