PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic blackboard that is downsized at a reduced cost and utilizes a facsimile terminal to printout image information n plain paper. SOLUTION: The electronic blackboard is provided with a function that transmits a call received by a line interface 14 through an external line to a facsimile terminal via a facsimile interface 15 and with a function that allows a modem section 19 to modulate image information read by a board read section 20 and transmits the modulated information to the facsimile terminal via the facsimile interface. Thus, the facsimile terminal connected to the electronic blackboard of this invention can be used for a printer that prints out the image information form the electronic blackboard of this invention onto plain paper and for an image reader for the image information given to the electronic blackboard of this invention in addition to substantial facsimile transmission reception functions.
