PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the degradation of light emitting diodes due to the heat generated by the light emitting diodes by efficiently radiating the heat, to brightly irradiate with light and, moreover, to prolong the life. SOLUTION: This advertising device having internal illumination incorporates the light emitting diodes 4 in the advertising main body 1 of which the inside is made to be a closed space and irradiates the outside of the advertising main body 1 with the light of the light emitting diodes 4. The advertising main body 1 is positioned between the rear face 6 and the light emitting diodes 4 and is provided with a shielding plate 5. The shielding plate 5 is disposed so as to form a convection gap 15 with the inside of a peripheral wall 7 of the advertising main body 1. Further, in the advertising main body 1, plural convection holes 14 are opened through the rear face 6. This advertising device allows the outside air to flow into the advertising main body 1 from the convection holes 14, circulates the outside air which flows in by convection from the convection gap 15 into the chamber where the light emitting diodes 4 are arranged and the light emitting diodes 4 are cooled thereby.
