PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device and its method capable of efficiently performing image processing a user desires after photographing. SOLUTION: An image processing part 30 for processing an electric signal output from an imaging element is composed of a plurality of processing blocks (1) to N such as defect pixel correction, optical black and white balance. Each processing block (1) to N operates in accordance with the instruction of a controller 26, and processing is advanced in stages up to the processing blocks (1) to N. It can be transferred to record processing at an arbitrary processing stage being the halfway stage of image processing, and the image data of the halfway processing can be recorded to an outside record medium 40. Then, the controller 26 adds information indicating up to which stage the processing is performed (image processing information), processing data or the like to an image file or records it to the outside record medium 40 as the other file separated from the image file. |
