To enable calk bonding without causing large strain at a reflecting face of a polygon mirror, a polygon mirror 3 and a projected portion 6 are bonded by providing plastically deformed portions 71 along a fitting face end edge 61Aa of a fitting face 61A of a large diameter portion 61 of a projected portion 6 and pressing substantial center in an axial line direction of an inner peripheral face 31A of an attaching hole 31 of a polygon mirror 3 toward an outer side in diameter direction of the polygon mirror 3 by the plastically deformed portions 71. Calking force may be small, strain caused at a reflecting face 32 by calking is small and accordingly, it is not necessary to select a calking position at a specific location to reduce the strain caused at the reflecting face 32.
