发明名称 METHOD FOR TESTING VOICE TRAFFIC CHANNELS IN CDMA MOBILE SWITCHING SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for testing voice traffic channels in a CDMA mobile switching system is provided to find out the inferiority of SVEs(Selector Vocoder Elements) in advance with little effort by executing a voice quality test for all the SVPs(Selector Vocoder Processors) installed in a BSC(Base Station Controller) and a status test for a trunk line connected with an exchange side at one MMC. CONSTITUTION: A BSM(Base Station Manager) inputs a diagnostic time to test the voice quality of SVEs and a BSC-to-MSC link state and information necessary for the test to a BSC(ST10). If the inputted time comes, the BSC selects an SVE to carry out VQTU(Voice Quality Test Unit) diagnosis(ST11,ST12). The BSC executes switching in accordance with VQTU diagnosis and forms a VQTU diagnostic path(ST13-ST17). If the VQTU diagnostic path is formed, the BSC transmits a VQTU diagnostic instruction to the MSC(ST18-ST19). The MSC executes VQTU diagnosis and transmits a diagnostic result to the BSC(ST20). In case that diagnosis for all the SVEs is completed, the BSC reports VQTU diagnostic results to the BSM(ST21,ST22).
