<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass flowmeter based on a simple operating principle. SOLUTION: The mass flowmeter comprises a hollow conduit which is used to transport a fluid in a determined flow direction and at a mass flow rate to be measured and which is made of a thermally conductive material. The mass flowmeter comprises a first thermosensitive resistor, in a first position, which comes thermally into contact with the conduit and which supplies heat to the fluid. The mass flowmeter comprises a temperature sensor. The mass flowmeter comprises a measurement and control means which can be connected to the resistor and the temperature sensor. In the mass flowmeter, the temperature sensor is installed in a second position on the upstream side with reference to the first position so as to come thermally into contact with the conduit. The measurement and control means is designed so as to maintain a definite temperature difference in the first and second positions and which is installed so as to come thermally into contact with the conduit (2). The measurement and control means (5) is designed so as to maintain the definite temperature difference in the first and second positions.</p> |
