The cylinder head proposed has two camshafts rotatably mounted between low and upper bearing shells, the upper bearing shells having bores through which connector elements pass, the cylinder head also having a number of fuel-injection nozzles disposed upright between the camshafts and the same number of mounting brackets having a mounting for the fuel-injection nozzle as well as at least one hole designed to accommodate an attachment element. In order to ensure a compact design and inexpensive production of the cylinder head, the mounting brackets (10) have two holes (13) and the mounting (11) for the fuel-injection nozzle (7) is located between the two holes (13). In addition, the holes (13) in the mounting brackets (10) and two of the bores (4) in the upper bearing shells (3') are aligned with each other, the connector elements which pass through the bores (5) concerned also passing, as attachment elements, through the holes in mounting brackets (10). |
