ADMIXTURE FOR CEMENT AND CEMENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admixture for cement that has high reaction activity and can increase the strength of the cured bodies without occurrence of fluidity reduction and provide a cement composition containing the admixture. SOLUTION: The objective admixture for cement is obtained by firing a hydrated clay mineral at about 600-950 deg.C and has the product of the average particle size and the BET specific surface area of 1×10-5-40×10-5 m3/g. The objective cement composition includes 5-50 pts.wt. of the admixture for cement and 100 pts.wt. of cement.
