OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical information recording medium that an extremely thin crystallization promoting layer can be uniformly formed to specified film thickness with good reproducibility and that initialization is surely made unnecessary. SOLUTION: The crystallization promoting layer is formed by a method of collimate sputtering by using a collimate plate 11 so that the extremely thin crystallization promoting layer can be formed in a proper time because of its slow film forming rate. Thus, the extremely thin crystallization promoting layer can be uniformly formed to specified film thickness with good reproducibility, and initialization is surely made unnecessary in the manufactured optical information recording medium.
